US TV star Cheryl Burke has been urging Dancing with the Stars bosses to reconsider their decision to have Chris Brown perform on the show on Tuesday night - because she's a former victim of abuse.

The professional dancer, who is paired with wrestler/rocker Chris Jericho on the current season of the hit show, has spoken out about her years of torment at the hands of an ex-boyfriend and she finds it offensive that Brown, who was convicted of viciously assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna, was even considered for the programme.

Upset Burke fumes, "As a victim of domestic violence I don't agree with him coming on the show but it's out of my control."
