A Wairarapa orchardist has gone to extraordinary lengths to win a war with his neighbours.

His neighbours are 250,000 starlings.

The birds have been feasting on his produce and almost sent him bankrupt, but it seems now he could have beaten his foes.

Where do you get the figure of 250,000 starlings from? Even the orchardist in question said 10,000. Starlings rarely exceed a few thousand in this country. Some of the shots must have come from the UK where large flocks do occur. And where did you get the figure of 130 introduuced Birds? By my count there are about 35. Your researcher needs firing.!!! And this is the third time I have tried to post this.
