Tony Reid and his nephew and niece, on a flight

Kids on planes - we've moved past MP Charles Chauvel telling the kids of a blogger to shut up, but it got us wondering how exactly do you keep kids under control on a flight?

Campbell Live reporter Tony Reid went to Wellington to pick up his four-year-old nephew and two-year-old niece and fly back with them to Auckland.

How did they go?

I recently moved to Brisbane with my my 4 children 13,10,6,5 on a domestic flight my children got a pencil and a activitiy paper but none from Auck to Brisbane I got commented on how well behaved my children are. I believe it is the way you teach your children to behave which gives you the results.

As long as they're not the ones at the control panel, it's perfectly fine to fly with kids. When I was a that young the plane usually had activity packs for the kiddies, I don't think they do that nowadays. Might be something to look into bringing back.
