Nightline Rugby World Cup Song Competition

NIGHTLINE’S RUGBY WORLD CUP SONG COMPETITION

Budding musicians of New Zealand – can you beat Ali Ikram at his own game and create a Rugby World Cup song the country can be proud of?

Tired of the lame, corporate pap that is regularly passed off as a song that should define a nation?

Nightline is offering you the chance to film and record your own Rugby World Cup song – the winner will have the opportunity to see their video aired on the programme.

Nightline reporter Ali Ikram will be judging the competition and has produced his own Rugby World Cup song. He is sceptical about whether anyone can beat him. We would love you to prove him wrong.

To send us your video, make sure that it is no bigger in size than 20mb and in a pretty standard video format (.avi, .mpeg, .mov, etc). Then use the form on the right to upload it to the 3 News website.

Entries have to be in by Monday 5th July and we will play the winning video and song on Friday 9th July just before the Tri-Nations kicks off.

Non-winning entries of a high standard will be played on 3news.co.nz.

If your video is bigger than 20mb in size feel free to add the video to YouTube and then email the link to nightline@tv3.co.nz.

The usual competition terms and conditions apply.
