I'm starting to see this trend at work. People are now considering whether to buy a laptop or a tablet. The laptop will be relegated to the annals of history...

The iPad has competition... from whom? Not from Windows as the Surface was only demod in concept form. From Android...?

The screen will have to get bigger if your going to use the screen as an interface, like a view of whatever is being looked at, plus a keyboard.

Eventually voice input will probably improve enough but currently if you want serious work done, you need a keyboard. Eg how would you enter a customers details with non-keyboard methods?

A lot of work needs to be done with the interfaces as a lot of them are great with little data, but incease the data to access more records and they become slow to use gimicks. What works well for a few items doesn't work well in bulk. eg an E-Book I looked at, no search ability, your supposed to page through all titles. That problem fairly easy to fix, but there are a lot of that type.
