A place to relax, how many clocks?!

Ever wondered what it’s like to go to the Olympics as an athlete? Wonder no more.

Melissa Davies took a tour of the recently opened Athlete’s Village and took her camera with her.

The New Zealand apartments are situated next to the Canadians, with NZ Chef de Mission Dave Currie saying the Kiwis have something up their sleeve to make the apartments feel like home.

Now if the Chinese had given athletes such short beds, we could blame it on they are generally shorter.

But those beds are child-sized. how can Athletes be at their best in beds so short? I wonder if the British athletes are using the short beds? Or if the taller athletes all stopping elsewhere?
