So its December. The final date for RSVPs for the wedding was 30 November. Think we've had replies from everyone? Think again!
Surprisingly, we had more RSVPs in the last week of November than we did in any other week since the invites were sent. Did people really sit there for two whole months staring at the invitation tossing up whether or not they'd come?! And to be honest, I'm not entirely surprised that it is our extended family members who still haven't replied.
Excuse me if I sound a little impatient about the whole thing, but numbers are kind of crucial here people! I can't confirm the number of chairs and tables to hire if I don't know how many of you are coming! Likewise for confirming numbers with the caterers, favours, transport, the list goes on!
That reminds me, we received two wedding invitations last week (on the same day too – how popular!), and you know what, I think I might go and RSVP now, just to save two brides the same kind of angst that I am currently experiencing!
Right, now that I've got that off my chest, let's look ahead to more positive things!
This weekend is a biggie – I have my first dressing fit YAY! And I also have spray tan, hair and makeup trials. I'm SO excited :) So I'm wearing a smile on my dial and trying to ignore the fact that I still don't have a torsolette and that my shoes don't fit now that the weather has warmed up.
Oh yeah, did I mention I get married next month? OMG!
