Taupo BMX rider Jed Mildon has pulled off what is thought to be the first ever double back-flip by a Kiwi rider.

The 23-year-old was competing at the Rollercoaster Alternative Sports Festival in Auckland.

Mildon is the National Freestyle BMX champion and last year was Taupo's sportsman of the year.
