Ugh. A spill even a fraction of the magnitude of the Gulf of Mexico one would completely devastate our coastline, not to mention fisheries, conservation and tourism industries. How can anyone even consider drilling off (or on!) the coast of a country so dependent on those two industries?! Backward thinking, money hungry fossil-fools.
