Country sweetheart Taylor Swift was stunned when T.I. agreed to join her onstage in his native Atlanta, Georgia recently, because she reached out to the rapper with just a few hours' notice.

The ‘Love Story’ hitmaker delighted fans in Atlanta earlier this month when she brought R&B singer Usher onstage as her special guest for her first show in the city, but there was an even bigger guest planned for her second date on 2 October.

Swift performed the rapper's hit song ‘Live Your Life’ at the gig, and she admits it was a dream come true for her because she never expected T.I. to agree to the collaboration.

She tells MTV News, "I called T.I. the night before the show, so I felt like it's such short notice that (he wouldn't do it with me), and he's just like, 'Hey, yeah, sure.' And it was just amazing.

"I was so excited 'cause I'm such a fan and I thought, 'This is such short notice, this is so ridiculous' that I'm asking him to do this the night before. And he's like, 'I'll be there.' And he showed up for sound check and we were all just so star-struck."

The concert took place just days after T.I. was released from a halfway house after completing an 11-month prison sentence for a probation violation.
