Security cameras on Te Papa could hold the clue to how the body of a man ended up in a stormwater drain in central Wellington.
The body was discovered near the museum's carpark yesterday by a member of the public.
Police are treating the death as suspicious and have been trawling through hours of CCTV footage.
Te Papa spokesman Filipo Katavake-McGrath says the museum and its surrounding area is well-monitored by cameras.
