A man has been hit by a bus at the station by Wellington’s Victoria University Pipitea Campus.

The accident happened on the corner of Bunny St and Lambton Quay at around 8.15am this morning, police said.

It is 16-year-old has been taken to Wellington Hospital where he was reported to be in a serious but stable condition.
