The death toll reached thirty on Sunday as floods continued to ravage Thailand's north and north-eastern regions.
Almost 1 million people have been affected by the floods, according to Thai media reports, and twenty eight provinces have been declared disaster areas.
The floods have followed days of heavy seasonal rain which caused rivers to burst their banks.
Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has ordered relief agencies to step up efforts to help the victims.
The waters have eased in 16 of the hardest-hit provinces though river levels continued to rise in other parts of the country.
