The Japanese trailer and a series of character posters for The Avengers have been released.
The video the third official trailer for the movie and contains a number of new scenes, most notably a first look at S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill, played by Cobie Smulders.
The Avengers, which features Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Incredible Hulk, is released in New Zealand cinemas April 25.
