Reporter Dr Lillian Ng follows six New Zealand babies from inside the womb, to birth, and throughout their all-important first year of life.

The infants are just a selection of a larger group who are taking part in the biggest ever study into the lives of New Zealanders - a cradle-to-grave survey which aims to answer the fundamental question: what makes us who we are?

If you would like to know more about the study, you can visit the website: www.growingup.co.nz

An apology IS in order here. Doesn't matter who is or who is not at fault.

Have some decency and give this poor lady and her family some civilized respect!!!!

How would YOU feel if it were you? Where is the empathy?

"It is a fact of screening" would look really hideous on a gravestone.
