A steamy new video by Kiwi band The Naked and Famous has been banned from YouTube because of its explicit content.

The video for 'The Sun' was made by Auckland creative team Special Problems.

Video and music are great and definitely derivative of Tool in both cases, which is not a bad thing. These guys have loads of talent but should focus on finding their own solid voice to make a mark on the world, rather than trying to build on the core of great bands like MGMT and Tool... which sounds great but has short term appeal. Danger !

Seen worse. Director Will Sasha Perry had his entire youtube account frozen and lost hundreds of videos because of one music video for Bay of Plenty artist Regan. That was 3 years ago.
