Meet a school drop out who dared to dream.

At 43 years old, Jason Witehira owns one of the largest supermarkets in arguably one of the wealthiest suburbs.

He also chairs the New World group.

This weekend he'll be inspiring Maori in the business world at a conference in Tauranga.

Kia ora to you Jason Witehira, a fabulous example of stamina, grit, perserverance, and damn hard work, doesn't sound like any accident to me. I bet you make your mama smile! Yeah you pinch yourself mate - but please remember, this was NO accident. In the words of Nicole Sherzinger, 'don't hate just congratulate' - nga mihi.
