The country's best science teacher

Students at Papatoetoe High School are in for a bit of a surprise.
Because earlier this week, Campbell Live turned up to film a story about 'science.'
Well, it was about science…sort of.
What it was really about is their award winning science teacher - Mr Stewart.
Today he was presented with the prestigious Prime Minister's Science Teacher Prize - which makes him the best science teacher in the country.
Anna Burns-Francis went along to see what makes his classes so special.
Watch the video.

He is an amazing teacher. I had him three years ago and I still remember how he used to make us understand and learn everything in such a simple way. He is just the best!

I've never had a better teacher than him, he is the best. He truly deserves the prize. Even on the last day before study leave began for NCEA exams he was preparing more worksheets and summaries, I'd be surprised to see if there's a better teacher than him.
