Liang Yong, 30, is China’s fattest man. He weighs approximately 230kg and is 1.58 metres tall, according to state media reports.

Liang, who has suffered from obesity since 1998, is in a critical health condition due to his weight.

He has been warded in the intensive care unit since last week. Doctors have been unable to reach his blood vessels during examinations due to his size.

Liang has tried different methods to lose weight, but it has all been in vain.
