This week is a week of megatron excitement!
Firstly we have The Granddad staying with us, which means lovely home cooked whole meals each night along with scintillating conversation! It also makes it all feel very, very near, as already the masses are descending on us!
Secondly on Friday is the equivalent of the Dress Rehearsal!
I have the talented Amber Haldane arriving to do my makeup trial, and the lovely Nicole Strange for my bridesmaid’s hair trial and the Brides too of course!
It will also be the last time I get to try on ‘The Dress’ before the big day, and the first time my Bridesmaids get to see me in it! We’ll also be getting them all kitted up in their flash gears as well so we can have a proper look at all of us together, and I can see if my ‘vision’ really has pulled together.
Then after a lot of gushing from all parties, and perhaps a cheeky champers to celebrate, we all get to pile into the cars and go on a road trip because…
Last but by no means least this weekend is MY HENS WEEKEND!
We are going to Mangawhai for a lovely long girl’s weekend away, complete with crazy games, sunshine, eating and no doubt copious amounts of drinking.
So if you’re out that way and see a bunch of girls wearing red clothes and red heart shaped sunglasses, running around the town- please help them out with their random tasks for the “Bride Strikes Back” game- and I’ll be the one giggling at them in white!
