We had similar issues with our son who got to 6'6" and 150kgs when he was 16. He went on a diet, cut back on the milk and got a lot fitter playing basketball. He dropped to 120kgs and he got an arch to his foot so he dropped a shoe size down from 16 to 15. Still hard to find shoes though. He's 18 now and gets his Basketball shoes from the US.
