Bill Shorten was asked whether he thought the parliamentary speaker should keep his job, following accusations of sexual harassment and misuse of funds.

His response was a remarkable show of support for his boss, Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

I watched that interview with disbelief how could he not know what the leader of his own party was saying - has he no phone, email or internet? what a prat to expose himself by stumbling through an interview like that - he should have just said no comment like all the others.

Sky News Oz labelled this and him, spin politics gone wrong. That the ALP is so weak and reliant on talking points that they are paralysed.
