i love dogs in fact all animals and i know that if i had the money, resources and was allowed to legally all animals especially dogs would have a forever home with me

Great! so, the 300 people who want to adopt - that should clear out the animal shelters in NZ, right? Unless these adopters don't actually want to provide a forever home to a loving pet in need - they simply want fame? A pet that's been in the media? Prove me wrong! Adopt all the dogs (& cats) in need, put your money where your mouth is, people. So many lovely pets are lonely in the shelter, on death row, just waiting for a human companion! What are you waiting for? :)

No he has to pay. How dear he steal food. You can steal Money, land, destroy peoples lives, maim and kill are all ok. But stealing food, he deserves the death penalty.
