The third one-day cricket international between England and the West Indies has been abandoned without a ball being played due to bad weather.

Umpires Kumar Dharmasena and Richard Illingworth made the call after rain continued to fall in Headingley, Leeds.

Any hope of play had looked unlikely early in the morning as ground staff couldn’t prevent puddles gathering on the playing surface.

England have already wrapped up the series 2-0.
