There will be three new faces in the Kiwis side to face the Kangaroos in this weekend’s one-off test in Townsville.

Bulldogs prop Sam Kasiano, Manly centre Dean Whare and Storm second-rower Kevin Proctor will all make debuts on Saturday night.

The 133kg Kasiano was the subject of a tug-of-war between Queensland and New Zealand before opting to play for the country of his birth.

This weekend's starting forward pack features four players from the NRL Grand Final:  Kasiano and Bulldogs teammate Frank Pritchard, and Storm players Jesse Bromwich and Proctor. They’re joined up front by Issac Luke and Simon Mannering.

Coach Stephen Kearney has also called upon the Doggies’ kennel to fill the ranks in the backs, with Sam Perrett and Krisnan Inu on the wing and at centre, respectively.

Yet another Bulldog, Greg Eastwood, has been named on the bench.

Benji Marshall once again captains the side, partnered in the halves by Kieran Foran. Sam McKendry is 18th man.
