Nearly 40,000 tickets have already been snapped up for the match between the All Blacks and Wallabies – a month out from kickoff.
The game at Eden Park on Saturday, August 25 doubles as the inaugural Investec Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup showdown with a seating capacity of 48,000.
A week before the match the two sides will have met in Sydney.
"The mouth-watering clash against our Trans-Tasman rivals is the perfect start to the first of three New Zealand-based Tests and judging by the ticket sales it is clear fans are determined to be part of the action," said Neil Sorensen, New Zealand Rugby Union General Manager Professional Rugby.
"Kiwis love it when we play Australia and the last time these two teams met was in a cracker Rugby World Cup 2011 semifinal at Eden Park," said Auckland Rugby Marketing Manager, Grant McKenzie.
"Ticket sales to-date are excellent with fans having secured their seats early for what is always a favourite on the international rugby calendar."
"While we have a capacity of 48,000 with seats available across most areas of the stadium starting from $25 Child or $80 for an Adult; our advice to fans is get in quick and secure your seats to avoid being disappointed."
