Snow photos and videos have been flooding in from viewers this week, but one Christchurch family really went the extra mile.
The Panckhurst family, from Harewood, built an igloo in their backyard – and had the presence of mind to record their efforts on time lapse.
It took them four and a half hours to make the igloo – with no breaks except for the odd rest to restore warmth to numb toes.
