Despite making the NRL playoffs it's been a bit of a horror year off the pitch for the Gold Coast Titans.

The controversy surrounding the building of their centre for excellence training facilities almost brought down the club.

But the players say off field issues have galvanised the team ahead of Friday's clash with the Warriors.

Several key players for the Titans are currently under an injury cloud with Scott Prince, Luke Bailey, Mat Rogers, Brad Meyers, Steve Michaels and Ashley Harrison all being given until today to prove their fitness.

Preston Campbell has been ruled out  due to a hamstring injury and William Zillman will start at fullback, with Jordan Atkins replacing Zillman on the wing.
