New Zealand equestrian rider Mark Todd sat in seventh place after the dressage phase of the World Cup final in Poland today.
Todd and his mount Gandalf posted a score of 37.90 penalties at Strzegom against a field of 31 riders from 14 countries.
Briton Oliver Townend leads the competition on his Badminton winner Flint Curtis after recording an outstanding mark of 29.60.
The cross country phase will be contested tomorrow ahead of the showjumping.
