Tom Cruise has revealed that his daughter Suri was “taken aback” by his look for upcoming movie Rock of Ages.
The six-year-old went to visit him on the set of the film with her mother Katie Holmes and was initially unsure of Tom’s rocker costume.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest today, Tom revealed on the radio show that Suri needed a little convincing.
“When I had the eyeliner and the painted nails, [Suri] was a little taken aback by it,” he shared. “She was like, ‘What’s happening to my dad?’”
“I joke with friends because she goes to [Katie’s] sets and there’s hair and makeup and they’re very nice.
“Suri comes to my sets and she’s got to wear a hard helmet. There are explosions going off. Dad is bloody. He’s bruised.”
The 49-year-old Hollywood heavyweight plays musician Stacee Jaxx in the musical film and says that Suri came around to his look and liked watching him perform.
“When she shows up on set she really likes the singing,” Tom gushed. “And here I am with black nail polish and eyeliner. She kind of takes it all in. It’s cool.”
