Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has left New Zealand after flying in yesterday to visit film director Peter Jackson.
The pair met at Wellington Airport when Cruise arrived on a private plane yesterday morning.
Jackson's spokesman Matthew Dravitzki told The Dominion Post Cruise flew out again today to Melbourne, where wife Katie Holmes is filming horror movie Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.
"He stopped to say `hi'. It was just a social visit," Mr Dravitzki said.
