Basketball star Tony Parker has counterfiled for divorce from Eva Longoria Parker, two days after the actress began proceedings to end their marriage.
The sportsman cited "discord or conflict of personalities" in a divorce petition submitted to a Texas court on Friday.
The papers, obtained by TMZ.com, read: "The marriage (is) insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationships (sic) and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."
The Desperate Housewives star cited irreconcilable differences when she moved to end the couple's three-year marriage on Wednesday, following allegations Parker was unfaithful during their union.
