Tony Veitch will appear in court this morning amid speculation he has negotiated a plea bargain.
The 35-year-old former TVNZ and radio sport broadcaster will appear in the Auckland District Court at 9:00am.
He had been due to appear next Monday at a depositions hearing, but that has been cancelled.
He faces six counts of assaulting his former girlfriend Kristin Dunne-Powell and one of injuring with reckless disregard between 2002 and 2006.
