The New Zealand retail scene has a strong Australian presence, from Bunnings to Country Road.

But in Australia, retailers are complaining about too many foreign brands taking on the local stores.

The unions have sucked billions out workers wages over recent years. What have they done with all that money? They could have invested it in NZ to buy businesses, and had worker owned businesses where they could pay the workers more, and make record profits! All probably while the workers do less hours! Hey, why even open the doors, as they will probably make profits with the business doors closed!
