Top Model Rosanagh Wypych is again in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons after posting a photo on Facebook of her and a friend with what appears to be cannabis.

The photo shows an unidentified friend leaning over a tin of what appears to be cannabis, while Rosanagh smiles at the camera.

The 17-year-old New Zealand Next Top Model finalist also posted photos of friends drinking alcohol.

A comment below the photo says “great look for a top model”, to which Rosanagh replies: “not me smoking it".

The photos came to light after a parent contacted Hawke's Bay Today.

The mother’s 11-year-old daughter had befriended the Top Model on Facebook.

"I think [Rosanagh's] done very well and that's fantastic but I'm a little bit concerned that she's quite publicly showing this alcohol culture, and she's young,” the mother told the paper.

Rosanagh, whose drink driving conviction was publicised on the show earlier this year, made headlines over the weekend for not disclosing a second conviction before entering the competition.

It was revealed on Saturday that Rosanagh had another conviction for driving while disqualified.

Ah well she didn't win the competition but a quick look on the 62 models website shows that the Tetro empire has hired her anyhow. So none of this matters anyhow. Go Rosie.

This is injustice, you cant even prosecute her in a court of law based on this photo. So its not a big deal, but the Media is making a bug hype to create tabloids, its only a plant, safer than drinking and much safer than smoking tobacco. Cannabis is a common drug in NZ, and according to our Health Minister Peter Dunne: "its not a big deal".

IT'S NOT A BLOODY PAGEANT. They're not judged on personality & morals, they're judged on their modelling abilities.

I guess the rules are still the same. Never let anyone near you with a camera when you have pot. Really simple. I guess you don't need brains to be a model, in fact from what I have seen of the show, being thick must be an entry requirement.

How ridiculous. It looks as though her friend is in possession of some very nice cannabis, which will bring about the desired effects with minimal harm due to having to inhale large amounts of smoke. The saddest part of this "story" is that she has felt obliged to toe the line, rather than simply coming out and stating that, contrary to the lies that government and media try to push, a) there's nothing wrong with getting high, and b) that cannabis is far safer than alcohol for doing so. Naturally 11 year old 'friends' should be discouraged from indulging in any such activities. Be proud of who you are!
