Despite being voted off New Zealand’s Next Top Model Amelia Gough is remaining positive about her time in the house.

Following a photoshoot which judges described as “average” and “disappointing” Ms Gough was eliminated after five weeks on the show.

Ms Gough says her lack of professionalism let her down on the show and she was on the back foot heading in to the season as she did not read high-end fashion magazines to prepare.

“I went into the photoshoots thinking that it was going to be quite easy or I’d at least be able to wing it and it’s not like that at all,” says Ms Gough.

Even though her photo was not enough to make the cut, Ms Gough still enjoyed her time in the house. “There were things that were negative,” says Ms Gough .

“I don’t live with regrets ever, you can’t change the past, just deal with it and move on.”

Of the judges Ms Gough says “I was told everything from that I was too hoochie to that I was too modelly and that I posed too much.

Ms Gough says she had a great time on the set and wants to keep up with all the other contestants now her time is over. Danielle is her pick to win the competition.

“I didn’t blossom on the show and I understand why I left,” says Ms Gough.
