After two losses to the West Indies in Twenty20 cricket, the BlackCaps have made a change for the One dayers.

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) today announced that Trent Boult has been added to the One Day International squad ahead of the five match series against the West Indies starting Thursday, July 5 in Jamaica.

National Selection Manager Kim Littlejohn said: “The current squad already has sufficient batting resources and we felt that bolstering the bowling stocks was the right option.

“Trent was always part of the Test squad and has been on stand-by for the ODI series. Having him join the team early will also benefit his preparation for the Test matches.”
