Tuhoe brought this on themselves when they aligned with Tame Iti. He was convicted by the jury - not Justice Hansen, and has been sentenced in accordance with pre-existing law. He knew he was breaking the law when he did it so what's the fuss? His actions are alienating Maori from the rest of the 85% of NZers who aren't Maori. As for John Minto (whom I once supported) he is disgusting in his blindness for supporting terrorism on innocent people.
