'Twas the night before Christmas

You’ll be pleased to know that I am starting to feel a bit less Grinchy and a bit more Christmasy!

This is just in time because today is Christmas Eve!!

After my wee ‘cry’ on last week’s post, everything started to fall into place (note to self: remember to rant more often). The invitations finally arrived! (YAY) so FH and I spent the afternoon getting them named, addressed and sent out (which is sooo not as fun nor as fast as you would think it might be). But now we can relax - until we have to start chasing up everyone’s RSVPs that is!

We also finally won an auction for a bag load of corks (not telling you what they’re for just yet, gotta keep some tricks up my sleeve), and we won an auction for THE most drool worthy champagne toasting glasses by Swarovski, and at a great price too!

I also spent an evening with my loving wedding dress, which was purely divine, but I mustn’t utter another word about that due to prying eyes.

We are still tired, run down and haven’t managed to get a lot of time together, but that’s what the next 3 days are for! (As well as replenishing our souls by stuffing our faces and tummies with brothers and sisters and daddies and mummies).

It’s going to be exactly what we need to get a bit of a recharge before its back to it again on Monday.

I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas holidays and I will be back again in the New Year as I’m off on a ‘blogging holiday’ for 3 weeks.

In the meantime here’s what’s on my ‘holiday’ to do list:

I will… drink lots of water, get active and get some sun

I will begin… cooking my way through a cookbook 1 night a week with FH

I hope to… FINALLY sort out the Bridesmaid dress saga.

I want to be… spending more time with FH

I will not… get burnt! Or get tan lines!

I will be avoiding…binging too much

I will be actively trying to… relax, breathe and take it all in my stride

I will be curbing my… procrastination. Less Farmville, more action.

I will be watching… EVERYTHING and ANYTHING on our new MYSKY

I will be listening to… Fleetwood Mac over and over reliving the concert

I will be thinking of… My sister having a white Christmas in England. <3

I will be looking forward to… getting to 2010 THE WEDDING YEAR!
