Two more arrests have been made following the discovery of a man's body in Rotorua's geothermally active Kuirau Park.
Polish man Roman Skorek, 64, was found dead by passers-by in the park early on Tuesday.
A 20-year-old man and 14-year-old boy, both from Rotorua, were arrested on Thursday afternoon.
The man was charged with murder and was due to appear in Rotorua District Court on Friday.
The teenager was charged with assault, and was expected to appear in Rotorua Youth Court later on Thursday.
The arrests followed two others on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Rotorua baker Rawiri James Samuel, 21, appeared in Rotorua District Court on Thursday morning, charged with Mr Skorek's murder.
Samuel has not pleaded to the charge and was remanded in custody by Judge James Weir to reappear on February 16.
A 15-year-old has been charged with assault and is to make an appearance in Youth Court.
Bay of Plenty Detective Inspector Mark Loper says it is likely more charges will be laid.
Police raided three Rotorua homes on Thursday morning, and seized evidence, including items allegedly belonging to Mr Skorek.
Det Insp Loper says police hope to reopen Kuirau Park to the public on Thursday afternoon, once forensic mapping is completed.
A blessing was held at the site about midday.
