Two further victims of the hot air balloon disaster in the Wairarapa, Valerie Bennett and Belinda Harter, have been formally identified.
The identification of Ms Bennett, 70, of Masterton, and Ms Harter, 49, of Lower Hutt, on Friday brings the number of victims formally identified to six.
Ms Harter's partner, Lower Hutt man Stephen Hopkirk, who was celebrating his 50th birthday on the day of the crash on Saturday, was identified on Thursday.
The hot air balloon ride was meant to be a surprise birthday present for Mr Hopkirk, but the special day turned to tragedy when the balloon appeared to hit powerlines, caught fire and plunged to earth, killing the 10 passengers and the pilot.
The bodies of the balloon's pilot, Lance Hopping, and young couple, 21-year-old Johannes Jordaan and 19-year-old Alexis Still, were formally identified earlier in the week.
Five others have yet to be formally identified.
The wreckage of the balloon was removed from the crash site on yesterday afternoon, and was taken to the Transport Accident Investigation Commission's Wellington workshops today.
