Two more people have been charged with murder following the death of a man outside his Hamilton home last month.
Jaycee Dallas Van Der Drift died early on November 19 after allegedly being hit over the head with a hammer and then kicked on the ground outside his home in suburban Chartwell.
He and some friends had been drinking in a garage when another group arrived and fighting broke out, police said.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Nigel Keall said today two men, aged 17 and 26, were charged along with 26-year-old Bryce Tamati Kapea, who has already appeared in court on a murder charge.
The two other men were due to appear in Hamilton District Court this afternoon.
Mr Keall said the latest arrests resulted from sound police work and good assistance from local residents.
"The forensic analysis of items recovered during the course of the investigation is still to be completed before officers can determine which was the murder weapon," he said.
