Genetics may play a part but even if your genes say you could get it, you may not - it all depends on whether it's triggered and no one has found out what does that for sure yet. Great to see the vid though, these people are wonderful for sharing their stories! Those of us with type 1 often wish the name would be changed, we're sick of being lumped in with other diabetics especially when there's talk of avoiding it. If only we had the luxury of avoiding it!
