UK travellers found guilty of slavery

3News NZ

Four members of a traveller family in Britain have been found guilty of slavery.

Three men and a woman were convicted of exploiting destitute men at a caravan site for their own financial gain.

The men were allegedly given almost no food and were paid little or no money for working 19 hours a day, six days a week.

Police made the arrests last year after finding 23 men held captive - including one man held for 15 years.
