The United Nations as announced it is going to withdraw some of its staff from Pakistan because of safety concerns.

The UN is worried about the rising number of Taliban-inspired bombings, which have spread from their hideout regions along the border with Afghanistan to the major cities.

Local spokeswoman Ishrat Rizvi says some of the international staff will be relocated outside the country to safer locations.
