Keith i entirely agree. and national are always quick to mention that they have their schemes which help people write CV's and how to dress. but it doesn't work if there is no job available. sure you could try work harder than everyone around you. but just like a running race there's people whom come first and people whom come last. it just makes me laugh and also sad that nationals answer to low unemployment is to do more lessons on how to do a cv (even though it doesn't work and won't work). It is like they think if everyone having a nice cv will make the employer decide he will hire a hundred people as his new receptionist. get real national get your head out of the corporate asses ass

Key is dreaming. The jobs are not there and they won't be anytime soon. Retail spending is hugely down, considering it's so close to christmas it's not good. Retaillers will have their toughest christmas trading yet. And why is this happening? People have less money in their pockets. Things have become and are becoming too expensive in this country and wages have not increased to match. Little money in pockets equals little spending which means more job losses to come. We are not out of the recession yet and Nationals answer is to reform welfare not create jobs or give people more money in their pockets. That's what will lift the economy.
