'Unusual smell' forces flight to turn back

An Air New Zealand flight has been forced to turn back to Auckland after an "unusual smell" was reported in the cabin.
The flight, which was bound for Sydney this morning, landed without incident and is being checked by engineers, an Air New Zealand spokeswoman said.
Passengers on board the flight were being accommodated on other airlines.

@Luke Frew: Due to those staff keeping safety a priority is potentially the only reason you're still alive. A lesser airline would have flown on. Perhaps it's not them being rude...
