There are no suspicious circumstances around the death of a 47-year-old man whose body was found under an Upper Hutt bridge, police say.
The body was found under the Totara Park bridge and police were called just after 1pm on Monday.
Detective Sergeant Christiaan Barnard says a post-mortem examination was completed on Tuesday.
He said there were no suspicious circumstances.
The death will be referred to the coroner.
