Usher says fish and chips are his anti-ageing secret.

The 31-year-old R&B singer launched his comeback album Raymond v. Raymond earlier this year. The record comes 16 years after his debut album, but Usher doesn’t appear to have aged a day.

When asked how he maintained such a fresh-faced look, the star joked he eats battered fish and chips every single day because the oil in them is good for his skin.

“Good fish and chips will take you a long way,” he laughed. “The oil helps my skin. So do doughnuts, ice cream and chocolate bon bons.”

Usher is extremely proud of his latest record. He thinks it is his best work yet, which is important as he never wants to stop growing as an artist.

“I’m naturally very competitive because as an artist, that’s what I do,” he explained to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O.

“I wanna be the best, I wanna be as great as I can. Even after such a long career I still look at everything as an opportunity to let a new side of my creativity be seen.”
