75 mins: Silva runs left, skirts right and lets Aguero loos who powers to the byline to cut a dangerous ball back into the box only to find other coloured shirts than sky blue. THAT COULD BE THE END FOR CITY IN THE CHAMPS LEAGUE AS NAPOLI GO 2-0 UP.
69 mins: Etihad has gone silent. There's a few hearty souls trying to stir things up but that news from Spain has hurt. What a strange sight for City fans to look strained and nervous, leading 2-0.

58 mins: UPDATE VILLAREAL 0 Vs NAPOLI 0. But at Etihad Stadium full voice is being reached.
55 mins: Desperation right there from Bayern in the form of Pranjic feeling he has to have a crack from 30-odd yards. Flies wide as 95% from there would.
51 mins: GOAL City! Bayern defence cut in two as Yaya Toure toe pokes one underneath the advancing Butt. It was a lovely ball from Dzeko who put Toure into the clear. Video up.
49 mins: Hectic start to the second spell with both teams have a crack but both well wide. Pranjic blasted one well aside from the post for Bayern while Silva set up Dzeko who didn't get close. That's one each and both will hope for more on target.
HALFTIME Manchester City 1 vs Bayern Munich 0. Napoli 0 Vs Villareal 0.
44 mins: Aguero with a great effort as he tries to curl into into the bottom right hand corner of the net. All City, could have been 3-0. But it's not... 1-0. Video up.

25 mins: City's Aguero, Savage and the likes are playing with Bayern down the right flank and a corner is the result. Too easy for Butt to punch away. Brilliant chance here for a set piece....David Silva on the hot spot... curls it with left foot.... Lescott right on Butt and it's in!!! No goal, no goal.... Butt is butted away says the ref. You decide. Video up. That's got the fans going.

5 mins: Bayern is looking quite compact and Gustavo and Tymoschuk are sitting nice and tight.Olic ups the tempo with a back heel flick and takes off but can't get the return ball.
WE WILL GET VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS UP AS SOON AS THEY OCCUR but right now it's pass-pass-turn-foot on ball-pass-pass-pass... you get the idea.
3 mins: Bayern get their first touches of the ball and give Butt at the back in the sticks a chance to feel his foot on the ball. Etihad in buoyant but nervous spirits.
1 min: We are underway and City roll the ball off and immediately slice down the right flank. The attack is easily handled by the Bayern defence but the first free kick goes to City centre field. City just trying to work into this one.
Kick off in one minute!
You'd have to say that there is a definite defensive look to the Bayern side... that may frustrate Mancini and the City side.
Well many may have their money on City winning this because they are at home and the way they have grown into this competition but Bayern are the traveling warriors having won six of their last eight Champions League matches on the road. City will need help even if they win these with results needed to get them through to the last 16.
We are taking live pictures and we are all excited about this one!
Kick off is not far away.

Pregame banter
Manager Roberto Mancini on Tuesday (6 December) started contemplating life in the Europa League as Manchester City's chances of reaching the UEFA Champions League knockout stages look bleak.
The English Premier League leaders host Bayern Munich in their final Group A match on Wednesday needing to beat the group winners and hoping second-placed Napoli fail to win at Villarreal in order to progress to the last 16.
Mancini has rated his side's chances of progressing at 30 per cent.
If money alone determined the outcome of the Champions League, Manchester City would already be through to the knockout stage and wondering which team it would beat next.
Instead, the English Premier League leader's expensively assembled squad is relying on a surprise result elsewhere to even have a chance of making it out of the group stage in their first season in the tournament.
City have won only two of their five matches so far, and must beat Group A winners Bayern Munich in the final group match on Wednesday.
It also needs a Villarreal side fighting relegation in Spain to at least record their first point in this season's Champions League against Napoli.
"We should think only about our result. We need to beat Bayern Munich, I don't think that will be easy, but this is our job. After, if Villarreal do a good job for us, then okay. If not, then we go into Europa League, and we try to win Europa League. That's it. We can't do anything at this moment."
City are cruising in the Premier League, but Roberto Mancini, just as he did at Inter Milan, has so far been unable to translate that domestic form into Champions League success.
A 1-1 home draw against Napoli in September, a 2-0 loss at Bayern the same month and a 2-1 loss in Napoli last month means that City's future lays in the hands of others.
But City's Italian coach is optimistic about the future.
"I think that, if we go through, we'll be a big problem for the other teams. If we go, but we don't know this, because I think that, if we win tomorrow, and Naples (Napoli) don't beat Villarreal, I think for us that will be an important moment because once there, we can say more things in the Champions League again. You know, the Champions League is difficult."
The Italian national Water Polo team were special guests at City training session.
The world champions are in Manchester to play Great Britain on Tuesday evening.
Mancini used the news conference to respond to criticism of the club's spending by former German international Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, now the chief executive at Bayern Munich.
"I don't understand Rummenigge's behaviour against Manchester City. It's six months he talk against us every time for financial fair play. He continued to say that he hopes Naples go through to the second stage. I don't know what's happened with us. I think that Manchester City are working for this financial fair play, for the next two years. But I don't understand what's happened with Rummenigge. Tomorrow, I want to ask him."
Mancini confirmed Aleksandr Kolarov will be out for two to three weeks, so Gael Clichy is expected to play at left-back.
The manager also hinted Bayern Munich, although already through, may put out a strong team to eliminate City from the competition, and ensure they can't meet them in later rounds.
Captain Vincent Kompany, who played against Bayern Munich in his time as a player with Hamburg, believes they'll pick their best players for a different reason.
"No, I expect Bayern to put out a strong team tomorrow. One of the characteristics of such teams is that they always want to win. So I can't imagine they would come here and want to get beat. If they want to then obviously we'd be happy about it. But I'd be surprised,” says Manchester City’ captain/
City right-back Micah Richards is doubtful for the match at Eastland.
Richards has a slight calf problem and will be assessed, but Pablo Zabaleta could take his place after recovering from a knock sustained in last week's League Cup win at Arsenal.
